Facilities

There is an extra child bed and/or cot available. Additional £30 per night for the child’s bed.

  • ~ High chairs, camp bed and an inflatable single bed, all available by arrangement for extra sleeping facilities for little ones.
  • ~ Underfloor heating in all bathrooms and kitchen area.
  • ~ Two wood burning stoves with logs supplied. One in the sitting room and one in the dining room.
  • ~ Maps of the local area available and excellent guide books for cyclists and walkers.
  • ~ Iron & ironing board
  • ~ Small utility room with washer/dryer combo machine, cleaning materials and equipment. Large water tank. Recipe books and Micro wave oven.
  • ~ Under stairs cupboard for boots and plenty of coat pegs and hat stand.
  • ~ Wooden floors downstairs with rugs. 3 steps with hand rail to front door and a sloped path and stairs with hand rail down to the back door.

The Grounds

  • ~ A small secluded garden and patio at the back of the house and a large garden lawn at the front, affording stunning views across the village to the mountains beyond.
  • ~ A weather observatory which has been converted into a summer house, contains 4 wicker chairs and cafe style table.
  • ~ For alfresco dining the patio area at the rear of the property has two outdoor wicker sofa to enjoy the sun.

  • ~ Street parking for two cars on the private gravelled road in front of the house. Extra parking can be found by the War Memorial and fountain next to the property.

SITTING ROOM & SNUG

  • ~ Two Freesat live TV’s one in the snug and one in the sitting room, with iplayer, Netflix and Amazon Prime enabled.
  • ~ Log burning stove in the sitting room.
  • ~ Two leather tub chairs, large leather chesterfield and a two seater linen sofa.
  • ~ The snug has a vintage sofa and two arm chairs with Freesat TV.

dining

  • ~ Large wooden parquet white washed table, with 8 cafe style chairs. Two arm chairs looking out of the window and a powerful telescope for star gazers.
  • ~ A cupboard with a large selection of glasses and crockery.
